This little alphabet came about as an exercise for our students at the City and Guilds of London Art School. Brenda and I took them to two exhibitions – the Eduardo Chillida and the Wendy Ramshaw one – and asked them to make an alphabet inspired by the shapes they saw. I loved the architectural feeling of Wendy Ramshaw’s jewellery and came up with this miniature alphabet.
