I used to regularly see the glow worms in the woods near my house, I think it’s such an exciting thing to see when you are walking in the dark. For the last few years, I’ve not had any site of these wonderful beetles at night, and I’m always disappointed to get through the year without seeing them. It’s just another depressing sign of the decline in our natural environment.

The area where I live in Norfolk has in the last year begun to undergo a process of ‘Rewilding’, so fingers crossed, these beautiful beetles will become more visible again.
