About Blair Castle
At the gateway to the Grampian Mountains on the route north to Inverness, Blair Castle’s location was highly strategic and its history extends over some 740 years. The castle is at the hub of a breathtaking historic landscape most of which was laid out in the 18th century and features a magnificent walled garden, a peaceful wooded grove, a ruined kirk, a red-deer park and a whimsical gothic folly.
